Join our preschool and after school program in a celebration of Jamaican art and culture as we raise the funds to install electricity in a rural school in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica. The Mocho Basic School is grateful for our partnership, and we look forward to supporting their program. Our celebration will include authentic Caribbean food, an art gallery curated and designed by our resident art teacher Ms. Natalia, a patty and Ting stand manned by our after-school crew, and a musical treat by award-winning harpist Brandee Younger and a group of fellow musicians. You do not want to miss this!
On Friday, April 1st, we will be visiting Jamaica on an electric mission of love. We can't wait to see the lights on, and you can help in three easy ways!
1. Grab your ticket to Light up, Jamaica! Tickets are $25 per adult (kids are free!). And share our event with your friends and family!
2. Purchase art from our gallery during the event. The artwork will be created with the help of your preschool and after school students and inspired by the art and culture of Jamaica.
3. Come hungry! We will be selling large plates of yummy Jamaican food to go! And be sure to visit our after school snack stand for bottles of Ting and homemade patties.
Thank you in advance for your support!
